Who would have thought that after the heavy rains all day, six gladiators still found their way to Fond-de-Gras to participate in our first afterwork MTB event!
The conditions set the tone, with mud as far as the eye could see. While everyone initially tried to avoid the first puddles and stay dry and clean, we quickly realized after a few hundred meters that it was futile. There wasn't 10 meters without water.
Where many would have turned back, our six participants held strong and covered the 20 km with big smiles and high motivation. RESPECT.
After 2.5 hours of riding, we went to the "Bei der Giedel" restaurant to enjoy our planned aperitif and plancha.
The restaurant provided us with a hose to wash the bikes, thankfully, because they really needed it.
